Resources:  Forests, Facts, and Fun
For Activists, Academics, Lawyers, and Anyone Else

This page will always be a work in progress.  We at Tennessee Heartwood have a mission to share information in order that there be an informed public as the National Forests, National Wildlife Refuges, State Parks, and other public lands belong to the citizenry.  All of these lands have ways for the public to get involved in their management.  It is often hard for average folks to wade through a lot of technical jargon and sometimes confusing laws.  Thus, this page.  We hope to share information to help you learn the complex ecology and legal landscape of our public lands.
The science of forest ecology and the laws governing public lands are always change.  We hope that we can make a small contribution to keeping folks up to date the best we can.
